Global Perspective (GP) is an innovative development education and awareness-raising initiative with a very practical focus. GP works at the interface between public awareness raising and academia, with individuals and organisations from the NGO (non governmental organisation) sector, Government, business, industry, churches, education and civil society, both in the UK and overseas. The programme has Christian 'roots' but is open to, and works with, those of all backgrounds. 

GP provides a challenging exposure to the reality of the developing world  through exposure visits and short placements, with a supporting programme to prompt reflection on global issues and citizenship. The emphasis is very much on learning from local people, experiencing the reality and allowing that to prompt us to future action.
